The 2022-23 base Gold Wing is the bagger version of the 2018-generation tourer, with an integrated starter generator, Throttle By Wire ride modes and either a six-speed manual with slipper clutch or the seven-speed DCT with idling stop. Lacking the top box, it is noticeably shorter, lower and lighter than the Tour.
